Narrative: Single engine company response to an investigation, reported smoke inside a
residence from an unknown source. Upon arrival Fire personnel discovered that the kitchen
stove appliance had malfunctioned and an electrical component of the stove had begun to burn
in a concealed area. The stove was quickly disconnected from its power source and isolated
from surrounding cabinetry, thus alleviating significant fire potential to the residence. No injuries
were reported, and occupants were not displaced.
