Incident: Felony Battery Incidents

Location: South Seaward Ave and the beach

Date/Time Occurred: 9-6-12 6:31pm and 7:45pm

Officer(s) Involved: Patrol

Victim(s): Victim #1, 43yr old male (Ventura resident) Victim #2 34yr old male (Riverside resident)

Suspect(s): 2 Males late teens to early 20's

Report #: 12-10610 and 12-10611

Narrative: on 9-6-12 at approximately 6:31pm officers responded to a call of multiple subjects battering a male victim at S. Seaward ave. and the beach. The victim was punched and kicked and lost consciousness during the attack. The suspects ran from the area before officers arrived on scene and were not located. The victim was transported to VCMC where he was treated for non life threatening injuries.

On 9-6-12 at approximately 7:45 pm. officers again responded to a report of two males battering a male in the area of S. Seaward ave and the beach. Again the victim was punched and kicked and lost consciousness during the attack. The second victim was also transported to VCMC where he was treated for non life threatening injuries. The suspects had left the area prior to police arrival and were not located.

The investigation is on going. If anyone has any information about this crime they are urged to contact the Ventura Police or Crime Stoppers.
