Took a walk around Devereux Lagoon Sunday afternoon, nearly deserted of people but populated with many birds, particularly Least Terns.

There are no Least Terns at Devereux now. The photo shows Elegant Tern.

Response to 853: One of my birdbooks (Audubon Field Guide to No. Ameridcan Birds) shows that Least Terns have a white patch on the forehead, Elegant Terns do not. There are significant size differences, it struck me that the birds I saw were more like 8-10in. rather than 16-17. But I gladly stand corrected.
