Bank Robbery

Suspect(s): Hispanic Male, approximately 50 yrs, wearing a Lakers hat, red/white plaid shirt & khaki pants

Narrative:

On 8-16-12 at about 1548 hours the Ventura Police Department responded to a hold up alarm at the US Bank in the 6000 block of Telegraph Rd. located in the Von's grocery store.

The suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note to the teller. After reading the note the teller fearing for her safety and believing the suspect was possibly armed complied with his demands. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled the bank on foot. No weapon was seen and no one was injured during this crime.

The suspect's actions were caught on the banks' video surveillance system (see attached photos). The Ventura Police Department and FBI are investigating this crime, if there are any additional witnesses to this crime they are urged to contact the Ventura Police Department or the FBI.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Anyone with information related to this crime is urged to call the Ventura Police Department at 339-4343, or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 1- 800-222-8477. If your information leads to an arrest, you could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
