WHERE IS IT?

Wednesday Where Is It
updated: Aug 17, 2011, 7:09 AM

By Ventura Edhat Staff

Congratulations to all you Ventura aficionados who knew the answer to this week's Where Is It Wednesday. It's one of the 36 hand-painted horses and animals on the Carousel at Harbor Village. Although that's not a reindeer, but a two-humped camel. This well-maintained old-fashioned merry-go-round is 50 years old and is part of the Harbor Village Arcade, which features games some of us older kids enjoy too, like several versions of Skee-ball. Here's a great video one visitor made of the Village Arcade.

Is this the carousel ride in the Harbor Village?

It looks like the other reindeers have finally banished Rudolf to the Harbor's carousel.

Apparently, Rudolf gives carousel rides to kids at Ventura Harbor when he's not pulling the sleigh. Whatever pays the bills...

I concur with Senorita Sunshine, it`s the carousel @ the Ventura Harbor.
