Wednesday Where Is It

The over-sized cowboy boot/planter in this week's Where Is It Wednesday photo can be found at the main entrance to the Ventura County Fairgrounds. The boot and several others like it are in place for this year's fair, themed "The Bounty of the County", which runs from Wednesday August 3 through 14.
The land for the fairgrounds and Seaside Park was donated in1909 by one of the most influential people in Ventura history, EP Foster “as a public park and a place for recreation….and pleasure for the general public.”
