Narrative: On the above date and time, Ventura City Fire Department responded to a reported Structure fire in the 600 Block of Monte Vista Avenue. First arriving Engine Company reported the source of the fire to be in a detached four by ten foot shed that was partially extinguished by residents on scene. Fire personnel extinguished the remaining fire and overhauled the contents of the shed, insuring the fire was completely out. Although an adjacent home was briefly threatened by fire, there was no damage to the home.
Fire investigation revealed the cause of the fire to be from sparks created while the resident of the home was cutting material containing metal. No one was injured as a result of this incident
