Incident: Residential Burglary

Narrative:
On the above date and time the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a 911 call from an alert citizen who saw an unknown male subject exiting a neighbor's house carrying property. Arriving officers checked the residence and found that it had been burglarized.
Additional officers were checking the area and found the suspect Palafox, who matched the description given by the witness, walking a few blocks away from where the crime had been committed. He was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia and was arrested.
He was positively identified as the subject seen leaving the residence with property belonging to the victim. Some of the property taken was recovered at the scene.
No one was injured during the arrest and Palafox was booked into the Ventura County Jail for 11377 and 11364 H&S, 29800, 30305 and 459 PC.
