The "jellyfish" photo is not of a jellyfish, but most like a species of tunicate. Commenting here due to too many deleted comments on the actual posting.

You'll see many Giant Coreopsis on the SB-SLO vintage rail car day trip on Saturday, March 16 sponsored by South Coast Railroad Museum. $69/person. Either that or take a trip to the Channel Islands or Santa Monica mountains!
