Not plicatilis, but does look like it's possibly an Aloe.

I agree, not plicatilis. The leaves aren't on the same plane as plicatilis is wont. The leaves of this plant are quite irregular. The succulent type and flower _do_ indicate some sort of aloe but I haven't been able to sort out which one just yet.

How about an Agave? That's what it looks like to me. Are the leaves soft and juicy, or more fibrous?

It's Sansevieria cylindrica, and the flower smells amazing when it opens!

Not Sansevieria. Look at the long lines, from bottom to tip of leaves. African, no doubt, but still not identified herein.

The orange flower in that pot is not the flower for the Sansevieria. Sansevieria cylindrica has a white, ginger-like flower.

Cucumber aloe. Aloe cucurbitata ;<) Send a pic to san Marcos growers for ID. Or SB cactus and succulent society. A better flower pic would be helpful. Has it bloomed before? If you just purchased the house and aren't a cactus and succulent person , why not invite the cactus and succulent society over. You'll learn a lot and find that maybe you have some rare specimens.

It looks exactly like a sansevieria cylindrica, but I haven't seen one in flower. Could the submitter of ths picture be trying to fool Edhat by sticking an aloe spike behind a sansevieria?
