Narrative:
Camarillo Special Enforcement detectives received information that Thomas Long and Melody Knoblauch were using and possessing Methamphetamine at their residence in the upscale-gated community of Sterling Hills in the 2800 block of Diamond Drive in the City of Camarillo. After a three-month investigation, a search warrant was obtained for Long, Knoblauch and their residence.
On 02/07/2013, detectives conducted a search of Long and Knoblauch's residence where a quantity of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and prescription narcotics were found. Investigators also located a shotgun inside the residence. Long was a prohibited felon in possession of a firearm under California state law.
Long was subsequently booked into the Sheriff's Main Jail, bail set at $55,000, for the following charges:
• Possession of Controlled Substance
• Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
• Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia
• Felon in Possession of a Firearm
Knoblauch was subsequently booked into the Sheriff's Main Jail, bail set at $20, 000, for the following charges:
• Possession of Controlled Substance
• Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
• Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia
Floyd was subsequently booked into the Sheriff's Main Jail, bail set at $5,000, for the following charge:
• Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
