Narrative:

On 2/4/13 at about 2000 hrs a Ventura Police Officer was transporting a suspect alleged of domestic violence to the Ventura County Jail.

The officer arrived at the Ventura County Jail and while he was about to enter the Jail facility the suspect got away from the officer and fled on foot into the surrounding neighborhood while still handcuffed.

Officers from the Ventura Police Department, Ventura County Sheriff's Department, and the Ventura County Sheriff's Department began a search of the area. The suspect was evidentially located in the 2100 block of Grand Av.

He was subsequently transported back to the Ventura County Jail where he was booked for domestic violence, escape, and resisting arrest.
