Narrative:
On the above date and time the Ventura Police Command Center received a call from a
resident in the 100 block of Livermore Ave who was reporting a residential burglary. The victim
indicated that they had woke up and observed the suspect in their bedroom taking items of
property. The victim confronted the suspect who ran out of the residence and fled the area on
a bicycle.
Ventura Police Department patrol officers arrived on scene and canvassed the area and
surrounding neighborhoods, however the suspect was not located.
Officers investigating this burglary determined that the suspect entered the residence through
an unlocked door. The victim was not injured during this crime.
The Ventura Police Department would like to take this opportunity to remind citizens to keep
all doors and windows locked during nighttime hours and when they are away from their
residence.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Anyone with information related to this crime is
