Mailbox Vandalism

Community mailbox vandalism--folks who live on the east side of Alhambra Ave. in Ventura have been without a mailbox since last Thursday. The mailbox was vandalized and mail stolen last Wednesday night. Why has there been no publicity or news about this? Why is it taking so long to get it replaced? it is extremely inconvenient to have to pick up one's mail day after day at the post office.

If you live in a neighborhood with community mailboxes, my advice would be to not place any outgoing mail in it and try to pick up your mail as soon as possible after delivery. Never leave it in overnight.
