Narrative:
On the above date and time, Ventura Police officers responded to the Chevron gas
station located at 507 E. Thompson to contact the victim of a robbery. When
Officers arrived they located the victim bleeding from wounds he sustained as a
result of the robbery.
Investigating officers learned that the victim was riding his bicycle east on
Thompson Boulevard when the suspect confronted him. After a brief conversation
between the two parties, the suspect demanded the victim's property. When the
victim was reluctant to hand over the property the suspect began to repeatedly
punch the victim before forcefully taking the victim's property.
The suspect fled with the victim's property and was last seen riding a dark
colored mountain bike north on California Street. . VPD Officers searched the
surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect. The victim was treated
at Ventura County Medical Center for minor injuries.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Anyone with information related
