Narrative: On the above date and time, the Ventura City Fire Department responded to a report of a
fence on fire in the 100 block of East Main Street. Upon arrival Firefighters found a public restroom fully
involved in fire. Firefighters extinguished the blaze while protecting adjacent structures, and searched
the facility ensuring that all occupants were out. Damage to the bathroom facility was extensive and
included: sinks, bathroom stalls, tile walls, deep charring to the roof structure, plumbing, and electrical.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by both Ventura City Fire and Police Departments. No
injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
