Meet Dara, a 2-year-old rescue calico from the SB County Animal Shelter. She is a lovebug who enjoys belly rubs and cuddling in bed with her mom and dad, Dawn and Mark. She purrs like an idling truck and has never met a bowl of food she doesn't like.

Her eyes seem a bit dark, but I'm sure not as dark as they were the day you rescued her. God bless you both for that. From my own experience, as the days go by, the eyes lighten, the trust is restored, and Dara begins a new day of sharing her love with you. Her soul has been revived and love will intensify. Watch her eyes grow brighter every day. Good job. Glad she likes her "see" food. Hee hee. I love her markings so very much.
