Incident: Assault with Caustic Chemical Arrest

Location: The Garage- 1091 Scandia Ave.

Date/Time Occurred: 12/14/2012 @ 0146 Hours

Victim(s):

Rhianna Mercier, 30 yrs, Ventura Resident David Liscotti, 30 yrs, Simi Valley Resident.

Suspect(s): Patrick Finnegan, 26 Yrs., Ventura Resident

Narrative:

On the above date and time, Ventura PD patrol Officers responded to The Garage Bar located at 1091 Scandia Ave. in reference to a report of a disturbance at that location. Upon arrival, investigating Officers learned that the suspect, Finnegan, had been asked to leave the bar about one hour earlier. Finnegan left the bar and later returned. Upon returning, Finnegan was asked to leave the premises once again and at this time he got into a physical confrontation with Mercier, who is a bar employee. Liscotti went to the aid of Mercier and Finnegan sprayed a caustic chemical into the face of both Liscotti and Mercier. Liscotti was able to gain control of Finnegan and restrain him until Officers arrived.

Finnegan was booked into Ventura County Jail in reference to 244PC-Assault with a Caustic Chemical.
