Narrative: On the above date and time, the Ventura Police Command Center received a 911 call from a resident in the 300 block of W. Center St. reporting a possible residential burglary in progress to a neighbor's residence. The resident said they saw a subject loitering in the yard of the residence, and then heard glass breaking. Officers responded to the scene and quickly set up a perimeter around the residence. Both of the male juvenile suspects were seen by officers in the backyard of the residence and detained. Officers determined both suspects had entered the residence after breaking a side window. There was no property taken from the residence, although evidence found at the scene indicated the suspects went to the location to commit a burglary.

Both suspects were cited and released to their parents for burglary and conspiracy. The victims were not home at the time of the incident.
