Narrative:
On the above date and time, Ventura City Fire Units responded to a reported structure fire in a local apartment complex. First arriving Engine Company reported heavy smoke coming from a row of garage units. Firefighters forced entry through a locked garage door and were able to locate the seat of the fire, which appeared to have started inside of a container storing cleaning solvents. The fire was extinguished and the burning material was removed from the structure. Several attached garage units suffered smoke damage as a result of this fire.
Firefighters remained on scene to overhaul the fire insuring that it was completely out. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
