DETAILS:
On 11/30/2012, at approximately 1942 hours, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded
to St. Johns Medical Center re: a stabbing victim. The victim informed officers that the incident had
occurred earlier at a parking lot in the 1900 block of North Ventura Road. Officers learned the victim
had been approached by the suspect and was subsequently stabbed twice. The suspect then fled the
scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a male, early 20's, 5-8, thin build. The suspect is outstanding. Baez
remained hospitalized and is listed in stable condition.
