Bird Bath Open For Business

The fountain in our yard is apparently the hottest bird spa in town! Today was treated to an amazing display of this Ruby-crowned kinglet enjoying his bath and then perching on the nearby tomato cage to fluff up and dry. While the hot pink crest on male birds is not normally visible, this guy flashed it several times while drying off. I've been waiting for a shot of the hot pink crest like this for over a year, one of my favorite birds.
