Incident: Stolen Vehicle and Possession of Stolen Property Arrest

Narrative: On the above date and time, an alert citizen called the Ventura Police Command Center after observing several subjects taking property from a parked vehicle near the intersection of Pomona St. and Ashwood Avenue.

As officers arrived on scene they observed Gebber, Nava and Palafox exiting the parked vehicle. Officers contacted the occupants and during their investigation learned the vehicle had recently been reported stolen in Ventura.

As a result of the investigation, Gebber was arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle along with possessing property taken from a separate theft.

Nava was arrested for being in possession of stolen property related to the stolen vehicle.

Palafox was arrested for possessing property that had been taken from an unrelated vehicle burglary that occurred on 09/20/12 in Ventura. All three were later booked into the Ventura County Jail.
